“If you don’t have a plan for yourself, someone else has a plan for you.” Pt. 1
Everyone has something that they’d like to do. In these times when more people are flexing their graphic skills, making signs to do odd jobs, it’s important to get to know your first, true customer: yourself.
Before anyone will buy your dream, you have to sell it to yourself.
Not just the concept, not just the talk of what you’re going to do (read: would like to do), but the pain of putting in the work and getting it done.
The good thing is that there is guidance all around you.
Resources like, the SBA, the internet, mentors, books, webinars are all good sources of motivation and information. But even with these, you can’t put your plan into effect without a concentrated you.
Now, the question is whether or not you’re idea will grow or rot. Since you planted the seed, there’s now a need, for you to research to know, what you have to do to make what you planted grow.
These posts will record my journey as an entrepreneur as I battle myself to expand my comfort zone, as I work my plan and make all my goals a reality.
I hope I don’t cry when I die, hope I go in my sleep with a smile on my face. Free, no longer having to be one more poor rat in a race. But until then scurry, scurry, hurry, hurry, plan and watch for traps, ill cats and other rats. You must “learn” to get degrees, you must “do” to get the cheese.

Webs, Claws, Beaks, and Paws.
This is a chant to keep cadence while stretching your fingers, wrists, and related muscles before beginning a session at your keyboard. It is preparation.
Generally speaking, planning and preparation precede action.
My plan:
1. Develop content: website, blog, articles, interviews, resources
2. Produce high quality digital video:
3. Promote locally and on the internet
4. Host networking events
5. Build client base
